GENERAL INFORMATION
-
We follow an international, learner-centered curriculum that emphasizes experiential, outdoor, place-based learning to spark curiosity, exploration and wonder. Our program integrates core academics with creativity, physical movement, environmental stewardship, and social-emotional growth.
We use a learner centered curriculum that is also place-based - experiential, hands on, inquiry based learning where students develop problem solving abilities, leadership skills and are encouraged to ask questions, take risks, and meet new challenges.
-
Place-based education connects learning to our unique environment and community. At Iyari, students explore subjects through the lens of their natural surroundings, local culture, and real-world experiences.

Through small class sizes and multi-age groupings, we tailor learning to meet the individual strengths, interests, and developmental needs of each child.
