Introducing the First Annual Memory Mural: A New Iyari Tradition

This year marked the beginning of a beautiful new tradition at Iyari School—our first annual Memory Mural.

Each student painted a “tile” featuring a nature scene inspired by the surrounding Careyes landscape. From ocean waves and jungle animals to sunsets and native plants, the mural is a vibrant celebration of the environment we call home.

More than just an art project, the Memory Mural invites every student to leave a personal mark—contributing to something lasting, collective, and meaningful. With each passing year, new tiles will be added, growing the mural into a living tapestry of creativity and memory.

We’re excited to watch this colorful tradition bloom and proud of our students for helping to launch it with such heart and imagination.
